Technology is advancing rapidly lately and i'm asking your opinion if advancing technology is a good thing or a bad thing?

I am all in favor of technology as i think most of you know i always have been interested in the latest gadgets and gismos and researches but i have to admit technology is not all good.

The more technology advances the more busy our life will be and their for the more it controls us.

The whole "robots taking over" thing.I think it CAN happen once we figure out how to make a creative,learning robot.

I don't think it is moving as rapidly as it did in the 50's and 60's. I mean the war was over, the TV just came about. There not much actually new coming out it's just a develpoment of old stuff. So to answer your question, No I'm not concerned.

I think it is almost every week i hear about a new and found technology most of the time its little things. Look at computer hardware every month or so a new piece of hardware is released sooner or later our future PCs could be today's Supercomputers

Yes but they are developments of a computer. When the TV or computer for that matter was invented, they started with nothing. Nothing like it had gone before.

you got a point their nothing truly new has been invented except the mobile at 2000

The mobile as you know it was 2000, but there was so called 'Yuppies' that had mobiles in the 80's, it was seriously like talking into a laptop they were so big!

Hydro Electric. That's where I get my power from!

It is a visitor centre and has a fish ladder so the fish don't get killed!

here we'r still using oil and no other way to get eletricity except buying a solar pannle and install it to your house

its also a good source of money for the goverment since they charge for visits = fewer taxes

There is oil and coal power stations as well. But I chose the tariff that gets it from there!
